We were founded on a math problem: 100M students, 50K counselors. Only generative AI changes that ratio.
NIGOC Ninetech was incorporated 25 October 2024 in Baleswar, Odisha to close this gap. We are bootstrapped, 2 people on a mission to make the same quality of admissions counseling available to a student in rural Mayurbhanj as to one in South Mumbai — in whichever Indian language they speak at home.

Is the counselor free to use?+
The closed-invite beta is free. We are funded by Indian government MSME grants and cloud-credit programs. A small subscription will start in late 2026; first-generation learners and students from BPL/EWS households will continue to access it free.
Which boards do you cover?+
CBSE, ICSE, IB, and all 32 state and union-territory boards. The agent reads each board's class-12 syllabus and entrance-exam alignment as part of recommending college streams.
How is my data handled? (DPDP Act 2023)+
All student data is stored in Indian data-residency zones (AWS ap-south-1 Mumbai). We comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. Parents of users below 18 receive consent forms before account creation. Full policy on our privacy page.
Are you only for engineering?+
Not at all. Our college index covers engineering, medicine, design, liberal arts, commerce, law, performing arts, agriculture, and vocational diploma programs. Roughly 38% of our beta students chose non-engineering streams.
